Monday thoughts

I woke up at 7 today and I’m feeling rested. For the first time in a while, I can say that I had an amazing 8 hours night of sleep. As of the last few weeks, I felt very anxious and overwhelmed. I had a lot of work and a lot of stressful thoughts. There was simply too much on my plate.

But today feels different. It’s currently 7:52am and I am feeling just great. I am ready to start the week. I feel motivated, strong and ready to make the most out of this week. I don’t know why I’m having this feel great mood, but it feels just right. As of the first snow that fell down 2 days ago, I feel calm on the inside and grateful for where I am at.

If some of you are feeling low and unmotivated, please take a look at my week’s healthy (mental and physical) reminder:

  • Sleep early so you can start the next day off with energy

  • Do a little 20 minutes stretch whenever you need a little break (or in the morning, it feels awesome)

  • Drinks lots of water every day (2L and more)

  • Write three positive thoughts in the morning (or think about it)

  • Head into the week ready to take on whatever life throws at you.

  • Remind yourself what you’re thankful for, and focus on what you have already.

How you feel is more important than anything else. Take a break, breathe, step by step, day by day.
